Privacy policy
This explains what personal data we collect on poligontech.com, why, who helps us process it, and the rights you have. We keep it short and collect as little as we can.
Who we are
The data controller is Poligon Tech S.R.L., Cajvana 797, 727100, Suceava, Romania. Trade Register no. J2021001011338, CUI 44336321 (VAT RO44336321). For anything privacy-related, write to contact@poligontech.com.
What we collect and why
When you contact us
The contact form asks for your name, organisation, email, workflow type and a message. We also attach how you first reached the site (for example an ad campaign tag and the page you landed on). We use this only to reply to you and to understand which channels bring enquiries.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand which pages are useful, how the site is used and whether our ads work. Clarity records anonymised interactions such as clicks and scrolling; it masks form fields and text you type. Analytics run when you visit, and you can switch them off at any time with Decline on the cookie banner or the Cookie settings link in the footer. Declining stops the trackers and removes their cookies.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring and improving the site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), which you can object to at any time by declining.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Google Firebase. Like any web server, it processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and keep the service secure.

Who processes data for us
- Web3Forms: delivers contact form messages to our inbox.
- Google (Ireland / USA): Analytics and Firebase hosting.
- Microsoft (Ireland / USA): Clarity analytics.
Where data is transferred outside the EEA, it is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless you become a client, in which case contract and accounting law apply. Analytics data: according to the retention set in each tool, at most 14 months for Google Analytics.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable format. Write to contact@poligontech.com; we reply within one month. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP.
Changes
If we change how we use data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
